Glass is found in practically all aspects of our daily lives. On our person we may wear glass beads for cosmetic purposes or glass spectacles to aid our vision. We grow food in glass houses, see the world through glass windows, relax on our balconies with glass balustrades, shower within glass screens, cook beside glass splashbacks, view coral in glass bottom boats, eat off glass table tops, serve salad from glass bowls, let the sun in with glass roofs, mount our art behind glass sheets, play with glass marbles, pickle in glass jars, house our fish in glass tanks, navigate vehicles from behind glass windscreens, find health cures in glass beakers, check our hair in glass mirrors, create life in glass test-tubes, scan the universe through glass telescope lenses… seriously… do I need to continue?!
